Hello, I've started having problems with my stomach a week or two ago, I ******d "stomach feeling full" and it brought up gallstones, and all the symptoms seemed to fall into place discribed exactly as what I was experiencing. The only thing it doesn't mention is a "bubbling" sensation in your stomach shortly after eating, just for a very short time. Is this gallstone related? I also read that they can be caused by medication, does anyone know of a list of either what ones or what types can cause it? Thanks

Hi dolly,

I'm curious to know what other symptoms came up when you did a search on "stomach feeling full". I also fell full quickly and it seems to last a while in some cases. I have always suspected gb problems, and my recent HIDA scan showed delayed gb emptying-- I even had stones show in one ultrasound, but it was negative in the most recent two. My newest GI doc doesn't seem to think my problems are gb related, but I've read and heard so many different things that it's hard to know and trust what the doc says. As for the stomach "bubbling"-- do you mean sort of a "gurgling" feeling? Like the food is digesting (or trying) and your stomach grumbles/gurgles? That happens to me occasionally, but I don't know if I'd call it bubbling. Again, I'm curious to know what symptoms you found that indicated gb problems, as every search I've done seems to produce different results....very confusing. Good luck!

Feeling full all the time, and when i have eaten a small amount it feels like I've eaten a 5 course meal, pain in my stomach and to the right of my stomach under my ribs which radiates into my chest and right shoulder (but kind of more in the middle as in not quite back not quite chest) pain

I hope your able to find some answers soon

Hi Dolly,

Yes, I often feel quite full after having eaten no more than 3-400 calories. I usually have pain in my upper abdomen a couple hours after eating, and a squeezing feeling in my chest. Some of the sites I've read have mentioned these problems as potential gb problems. Some have not. They often mention nausea and vomiting. I've had very little to slight nausea (only if I feel to full), and no vomiting. I don't have stabbing pains, but my stomach pain is sort of a sharp cramping that lingers for hours. the pain I feel is more on the side of my right ribs, as opposed to directly in the spot where the gb is. Hmmm?????

Have you had an ultrasound or a HIDA scan to test for gb function? Just curious...good luck to you in figuring things out!
