Yes, you could be pregant, even if the test still says negative, it may not have dectected enough hormone in your body. Try again.

Yes that is true. Tests aren't perfectly accurate. Buy one of the kinds that say they are over 99% accurate (when taken when your period should be there or close to it). If you take the test very early, it may not detect it yet. You can also get a test done at a doctors office as well to be sure.

Definately.

I had 4 negatives before I got a positive.

Home pregnancy tests can give you a false negative, but never a false positive!

Actually some tests CAN give you a false positives because of a certain medication you may be taking. I remember reading about this one time but I don't remember which medications can do this, but they were prescription ones. I'd say this is pretty rare though if you aren't taking anything!

Prescription hormones will give you a false positive.

False negatives are very common, you need to have enough HCG in your urine for the test to detect, and if you are testing too early, or have low levels, it won't read and it will look negative, even if you are in the early stages of pregnancy.

Wait 2 days, use your first morning urine, use a good quality test and test after your period was due, and you should see a reliable result.

For me, I don't see positives until I am at least a week overdue.
