Hi all, I am new to the board, and needs to make a fast decision on which insurance pan to get for my wife and I. I have 2 choices:
1) HIP (HMO)-no deductible, $25 copay per office visit, $82.50 (2 people)
2) CG Choice-$1500 deductible individual, $0 copay per office visit, $46.94 (2 people)

I know there are more details to these plans, my wife and I are both 27 years old, we barely go to the doctor, maybe once an year for reg check ups, but my wife will get a laser surgery (spider veins on her leg) done soon.

I know HIP is better BUT cost more, but will I save more $$$ if I get Cigna choice?

Thanks so much!

Since you are young and healthy go for the cheaper one. I'm not so sure spider veins are even covered are they? since they pretty much are a cosmetic thing. If they are covered they would be considered preexisting and not covered? things to think about. I think even if they are not covered I would go with cheap at your ages.
