Hello - this is my very first post here, or anywhere. I have been searching for a while now to try and determine if there is a connection here??? I had three successful pregnancies, my second was delivered section as she remained breech to term. It was only in my last pregnancy it was discovered that there was a hymen or septum in the upper left part of my uterus. During the c section delivery of my third child - after she was delivered - my OB could see this with her eye and then decided then to resect the septum since she was already 'in there'. So there I was - 33 yr old, 6 months post-partum and still no period and experiencing everything you read and hear about menopause symptoms, times ten! I had always had very normal menstral cycles. When my FSH level was checked at my 1 yr post-op visit, my OB couldn't beleive how high this was. When I asked if there was any connection to the work she did on the septum and me going through this, she answered 'absolutely not'. In my head there is absolutely no other explanation. I am now 37 and question this more and more as it does not seem to get easier to 'accept' this, but harder - to say nothing of the menopausal issues. Is there anyone out there who has experienced anything similar to this???
