I want to enhance my lips. Not interested in injections, looking for a permanent solution. What type of implants would you recommend? How long is the downtime?

I live in Dallas, by the way.

Hi, I was looking into permant implants called softform as was sick of getting injections every six months with restalyane. But alot of people were getting problems with the implants moving especially in the lip area. Alot of doctors do not use them now. I then found out about a permanent injectable called aquamid. A friend of mine had her lips done so I decided to do mine. I had them done over 2 years ago now and love the results. They have'nt deflated at all. It's best if you get the injector to do non permanent first and see if you like the way they do your lips then when it wears off get them to put the permanent in. I had a small amount put in as it's much easier to top up if you need more in than to overfill and have to get it taken out. Aquamid can also be used for other areas of the face. It's around 3 times the price of non permanent injectables per ml, but you only have to do it once. I would highly recomend it as a permanent filler.
