I had a complete hysterectomy in oct 2007. I have my overies and surgery went well. Im now experiencing weight gain in mid section and sore swollen breasts(only for the past week) Im 33. Should I go and see if my hormone levels are ok or is this normal and it may just be pms?

purplepiegirl,

It sounds like pms to me. It's always a good idea to get things checked out if you're worried, but I would wait a week and see if it subsides. These symptoms will become more irregular as your ovaries start the procedure of shutting down your hormones, but you're still a little young yet. And, of course, you don't have periods to give you indications about what's going on. But for right now, I'd assume pms.
