hi,
i had headaches for probily since april. it is on top left of my head, sorta dull and on my forehead. it feels like a line from the back of my head to the left top to my forehead. it is sorta the same on the right side. i went to the doc. and he said he didnt think anything was seriously wrong. he gave me allegra thinking it might be sinus. the allegra doesnt work really and i have been worried this is a tumor for like the last 2 months... its all i think about. it hurts when i press on certain areas on top of my head then it gives a sensations to my noise. i dont know what that means. i am terrified and i am praying about it daily. i dont want to die only 16. i went of a plane in april and i felt head pressure of top of my head. has anyone had this?? plz can someone shed some light and confort on this subject?

Have your parents take you to a neurologist because they specialize in headaches.
The neuro will more than likely order a Cat Scan, MRI & EKG to rule out tumors & heart problems.

I am assuming you are dealing with a "family" physician. It's best to always get a 2nd opinion & sometimes a 3rd when you start questioning the original diagnosis.

Dear Very Scared,
When I read your letter I thought I was reading my own words. I too have a dull sometimes sharp pain on the left side of my head. It started in April and I am still having trouble today. I am an 18 year old girl and I too am terrified that it's a tumor or something serious. I hat a CT scan and it came back normal. I now have an allergist appt to see if allergies to something is causing it. If I get no answers there i am going to request a referral to a neurologist. I understand your worry and stress, but let me tell you from experience that it won't help anything. I was scared to death to go get the CT exam but after it came back normal it gave me some relief. I recommend you go and get some tests done, and then your mind will be put at ease. Keep me posted on how you are doing and I will do the same.
