Has anyone with who has lupus ever sufferd with stomach problems??? If so did you ever find out what they were and why??? this infomation would be very useful.... Also does anyone have both lupus and coeliac disease i do and it would be great to no im not the only one which im sure im not.
2008, Hi! I had almost 25 years of severe irritable bowel problems. The joke on me was that my GI problems all but disappeared after hydroxychloroquine (a/k/a Plaquenil) kicked in. But I don't have a flat-out GI disease, like Celiac, Crohn's, etc. (I had all the tests, multiple times.) Fatty & spicy foods still bother me, so I minimize those.
I'm pretty sure others here have been Dx'ed with Celiac. I hope they'll chip in soon.
About fatigue... Gee, I wish I knew the magic bullet! I think the only thing you can do is ration your energy carefully. And if your body is saying you're tired, try to nap &/or cut back. And don't ever apologize to anyone, including yourself, when you cut back. Just think positively, that some extra rest will perhaps help you get thru your flare faster.
Bye for now, with my best wishes. Hugs, Vee

I've been having horrible stomach issues here also and after finally 'fessing up to my primary dr., I've been told that I need to see a specialist. I've been putting it off for awhile, as I have enough "specialists" already, but I think it's time to address the issue.
