hi i have been having headaches that last for hours. it seems like aspirin does not really help. they hit me about every other day. can anyone tell me if it is something that i should have checked? is it something serious? usually with a nap they go away. any info would be good thanx.

Have your fam doc refer you to a Neurologist (headache specialist). If over the counter drugs are not working then you need prescription drugs.

PS: In the meantime, put an ice pack on your head. If you do not have one, then get a baggie & put some ice cubes in it. Wrap a wash cloth around it & place it on top of your head or place it on your fore head.
