View Full Version : Migraine?

Every once in a while I'll get really bad headaches that cause nausea, sensitivity light and sometimes sound, and dizziness. I'm not sure if they'd be considered a migraine, because I heard that it's only a migraine if it's on one side of your head. But mine are usually all around my forehead. Does it make a difference?

Migraines are usually one sided but can on occassion give an all around the ha feeling. If this is something new you should see a dr. for it and be diagnosed and get medicines to help you deal with this the next time it happens.

migraines are normally on one side of your head. what you're describing sounds like a tension headache - a tight band usually across the forehead or the back of the head. i get both severe migraines and severe tension headaches. some of the more severe tension headaches also have the nausea and vomiting and severe pain, like migraines have.

Maybe so... lately I've been having them on the back of my head, so you're probably right. What exactly causes a tension headache? Stress? Thanks
