I think I have been on a new birth control ever year since I first started taking it 4-5 years ago. Is it bad to switch it that often? I'm on Tri-sprintec, a generic version of ortho tri-cyclen. My Derm. says it has a tendency to cause acne (which is a major battle for me), but, in college, i can't afford the brand name version. If it's okay to switch birth controls..again.. does anyone have any recomendations for a good generic?
Thank you!

I know that I was perfectly fine when I was on alesse, but my doctor switched my pill because she said yaz was better. So I am not too sure talk to your doctor. I know if a pill is not right for your body it is a good idea to switch it. Also I am not sure where you live, but in Edmonton if you really are having trouble paying for birth control the Birth Control center can give you free packs. Something to cheack out. Hope this helps somewhat . Goodluck!
