I seem to have cycles of headaches. For weeks/months I will have a constant throbbing pain over each of my eyes that only goes away periodically over the day. It seems to be constant until one day it goes away, only to come back again a few weeks later. Does this seem to be sinus headaches or what other type of headache could this be???

sinus headaches aren't normally in that area. if the pain is on one side at a time and is severe and accompanied by nausea, it's most likely a migraine. if the pain is across your entire forward, it's probably a tension headache. hope this helps.
Yeah, most of the time the pain comes from just above my right eye, but sometimes it switches and it comes from just above my left eye. Rarely, if ever, does the pain come from both sides at the same time. Also, it seems like the more sleep I get the worse it gets. After a full night's rest I wake up to throbbing pain, but after only 3 or 4 hours of sleep I wake up to substantial pain relief usually. And yes, sometimes I do get nautious (sp?) from my headaches, but most of the time, the nausea isn't a factor.

Since the pain is in the eye area and is worse after sleeping it could well be sinus related since you sinuses tend to drain a lot at night if you have sinusitis or a sinus infection. It could well be something else though too. I would consider trying sudafed at night before you turn in and use that for about a week to see if that helps or not. If it doesn't help at all then or only helps some see your doc to figure out what is going on.

i Have the same thing. The pain is in my eyes, and it lasts pretty much all day and then goes away for a few days and then comes back and lasts a few days. I dont know that is causing this, i was thinking it was from the computer since i do alot of work on here. I have been putting a cold rag on my eyes and forehead and it releives some of the ache in it.
