jaberwokki 01-31-2008, 12:24 PM what if your fasting readings are 93, 118, 120, 134, 115 consecutively? Coravh 01-31-2008, 03:52 PM Anything over 100 fasting is not normal. Anything between 100 and 125 is considered pre-diabetic and anything over 125 is considered full blown diabetes. You are definitely not in the normal range. Has your doctor ordered an a1c and a glucose tolerance test? Do you know what your post prandial levels are? PP levels are those taken 2 hours after the start of a meal. Often the fasting is the last to go, so your blood sugars may be going even higher than you know. Cora tb68 02-01-2008, 01:15 AM It's never to wise to top post Cora, as she is quite wise here. You need more tests. Guess I am just re-stating her words. Let us know, ~ Mark Coravh 02-01-2008, 07:30 AM It's never to wise to top post Cora, as she is quite wise here. You need more tests. The good news for you JW, is that there are a lot of folks here who have a lot of experience and knowledge. Good luck. Cora |
