Got my results today (after my freakout on Wednesday).

My ferritin is at 29 (an increase over my November number of 20). I was at 25 in September, so I'm pretty much holding steady. This was not a bad reading at it was the last day of my period.

My hemoglobin was 14.0 and my hematocrit was 41.6 which are pretty darn good for the end of my period!

My TSH was at 0.44.

Now, the only issue is--why the heck am I having heart palps (or extrasystole as my doc called it). No one's worried but I'd love it to go away. Can't blame my thyroid or my iron on this!

Christine--Those are very good results! I must say I am very impressed with the high Hgb for two reasons, first, at that range you will store iron and secondly, It's an optimal number.

I guess if this extrasystol continues you might want to have another cardio workup to make sure everything is okay. Maybe it's just a panic reaction and nothing else. Isn't it good though to know that it's not your thyroid or iron? Congrats! FLFLOWERGIRL:)

It's good to see that you have moved upwards :) especially after your period. I think the 20's are the hardest figures to get through so next time hopefully you will get past 30.
