I am on my third month of taking the pill (Diane). Previously I have not had any bleeding except when taking the sugar pills, however I have been bleeding for 8 days now and I'm really starting to get worried:(. I haven't missed any and I have taken it at the same time everyday.

Is this normal? What could it be? And should I be worried?

It definitely doesn't sound normal, and the only thing I can think of is that it's simply not the right birth control for you. If it's been 11 days now I'd consider you seize taking the pill and talk to your doctor or OBGYN as soon as you can to figure out why it's happening.

Sorry I couldn't be a little more help, but I have heard that some people have to go through several trials for different kinds of pills until they find one that works with their body and their hormones.

I was on a similar pill to this one, and it was all new to me..so i also freaked out!

I bled when i shouldn't be at all.. i had my period, then two weeks later I got it again! and it went on for ages.

Started to freak out, and then talked to my mates n one said that it just isn't strong enough for me...

Also sometimes I forgot to take it, so i would just wait til the next day and take the next one.. But apparently im not suposed to do that as i need one every day no matter when.

Anyway, i got off that pill straight away, i got back to my regular pattern again, let my body get back to normal cuz it was completely screwed up!! and I went back to the doctor and got another prescription. i havent used it yet but im hoping it will work :)

i can't go to my doctor till the 15th as i'm out of town and i really don't want to go a random doctor...

but tomorrow is my last active pill and then ive got the 7 sugar pills so i guess i will just ask when i go. but im still bleeding so i hope it is just the wrong pill and nothing serious.

also just wondering how can it be "not strong enough"? i thought yasmin was a low dose one, and that diane35 is normal? or is there stronger ones??

ive recently started the pill for the 1st time and 2 wks into taking the pill i started bleeding, and have been bleeding now for 8 days.. so i have not taken it the past 2 days and am seeing my GP 2day
