My gp prescribed lyrica and gave me this coupon for a free 7 day trial. It has had alot of success with fibro/nerve pain. It is suppose to be really similar to neurontin. Well I have 5 of the 7 left. I actually hallucinated on that stuff!!! I had to call my mom to come and take my daughter to school because I was afraid to drive on it!

I did some reading and this has been reported. But it has also had alot of success, I was just not one of them. I just wanted to let you guys know if you are prescribed this, give yourself a couple of days and see how it will effect you. I take pain medication and bp meds every day and have a pretty high tolerance. I have never had anything mess me up that bad.

Now that being said, I was really unwell at the time and also had skyrocketing blood pressure. It could have just been a combination of everything. But, I will still never take it again. That freaked me out! I would actually close my eyes and be somewhere else, in like a store. Then I would open up and be home again. Talk about an out of body experience!!

I told my dr about this, he is very polish and said, "well, did you like it or not?". This was after my telling him about the whole out of body thing! Then I realised he was kidding around with me. duh!! it is hard, he has such a dry wit! I like it, don't get me wrong. I have a dry sense of humor too, but he is really dry!! lol..

Hi, I am on 300 mgs a day. I havn't had it effect me that way. I have been taking 300 mgs since before May 2007.How many mgs did you stat at and are you taking other meds? It is a medicine that has to be increased and decreased slowly. Weird dreams have come to me though. But I find it worth the trade of taking the edge off the pain. For now anyway. grinche41.

He started me on 2 75mg pills a day. But I only took 3 of them due to the side effects. I have no doubt that my other meds played a part in it having such weird side effects on me. I was also very sick at the time. However, I did see that this isn't just me. Others reported the out of body type feeling. I am sure it is just an individual thing and different people are effected differently and the other meds play a part too.

I just wanted others to make sure they are aware before taking it. You never know.
