My doctor started me on Loestrin 24 FE back in December, right around the first week. I was previously on Ortho Tricyclen LO and she thought that a different prescription might help my headaches and cramps I was getting.

I've never skipped a period, but since then I've been on the Loestrin and I haven't had a single period. I've read other posts saying that this is common. I tested myself with a pregnancy test and it was negative.

However, within the last week I've had two random times throughout the day (Thursday and today) where I suddenly felt very nauseous and had to run to the bathroom. I didn't throw up, but I've never had this happen to me before. Birth Control has never made me feel sick no matter what. And it's just now started happening even though I've been on it for 2 months. Any ideas? Could I be pregnant and the store tests aren't detecting it because the hormones are low?

I wasn't on BC before I got pregnant but I felt very sick while i was starting into my 5th week and had to run to the bathroom go to the doctor in another week or so and ask for a blood test.

Thanks. Looking back at the calendar of approx. when my last period was and such I would be just into my 5th week if I am pregnant. I have a Dr's appt. scheduled on the 20th and I don't think I can get in sooner, which sucks for many reasons.

Hopefully this is all something to do with my birth control though! Or perhaps something else.

Just an update, still nothing going on. I stopped taking the pills about 2 weeks ago. Doctors appt in 2 more weeks. I hope everything is alright. Any advice, someone let me know!

I had the same problems with this pill! I knew i was not pregnant because i did not have sex. I felt horrible it was like i had morning sickness. I went to my GYNO and he took me off of it immediately. MY advise is to call your doctor and get off it asap!

Thank you. I am going in next week and I've been off of it for about 3 weeks since they only gave me a two month sample. I've felt a lot better since I stopped taking it though!
