Here is my long story, I was diagnosed with lymes 4 1/2 years ago was under treatment for about 2 yrs until under control, My first symptom was the worst headache of my life and from there on I have sufferd with headaches everyday since. I also sufffer from anxiety/panic disorder and wonder if that is where these headaches are coming from or is there really something eles wrong. sometimes they are throbbing headaches and become worse when bending over like my head is going to explode i feel like a building is sitting on my head, other times they are pressure tyoe with pins & needles sensations the pressure is so bad I can hardly hold my head up. other times they are like a band around my farhead radiating into my neck and shoulders, lately I have also noticed a stabbing sensation in my head or twitching imy temple area it scares me half to death when it happens, I break out in a sweat and that's when I begin to panic. I also notice mv vision go's off and I get very dizzy I can hardley stand does this sound just like stress related? does anyone eles feel as me?
I am so tierd of always having these headaches not a day goes by without one.

any advice would be appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such severe headaches. When you say, Lyme do you mean Lyme Disease? How did you get it?

yes I'm sorry I meant lymes disease. I am unsure how I got it I never found a tick or rash on my body. I was at work on day and had this very bad headache and felt really sick Then my balance went off to the point were I couldn't even stand and I just began to tremble and shake, It was the scariest thing I have ever felt. after a few days in bed I went to the doctor, three weeks later after being mis-diagnosed My blood test came back positive for lymes. I was treated for about a year on and off with antibiotics being bed ridden couldn't even stand up, every blood test I take shows positive for lymes and still till this day 4 1/2 yrs later I still don't feel right, joint pain and nerological symptoms, never had panic/anxiety until I got lymes. cardiologist said I have a abnormal heart rhythem, and the headaches never went away. it's been a LONG 4 1/2 years with many struggles! hope you are feeling better soon as well!

I have convined myself i have a brain tumor. I have headaches all the time and am told by everyone I am worrying about nothing. I had a CT scan in July and that came back clear but I still think I have a tumor.

Can anxiety cause headaches??

Must try this Medication, it is truly a miracle but it is a prescription. I am a daily migraine sufferer or shall I say I was. I tried Immitrex and that was unsuccessful. I am now taking a medication called Fioricet and it is a miracle this medication has caffeine and a sedative in it but I have been on this for a year my migraines were classified as tension headaches and the caffeine works a miracle but the sedative levels out the side effects of Caffeine. I usually cant even tolerate caffeine it makes me sick, tears my tummy up and gives me jitters but taking this has no side effects on me and I am very sensitive to pain meds. Fioricet is like taking Advil but works like no other pain medicine I have ever found! My neck and shoulders would never stop hurting I cried all the time. My advice is to talk to your Doc about Fioricet it has been very successful in others. NOTE some Fioricet is prescribed with Codeine but mine has APAP/ BUTALBITAL/CAFF
