Every once in a while or a few times, I might get tension in my neck. and it feels like too much general stress is there around it. When I turn it it CRACKS! How would I improve the neck tension,Would seeing a chiropraticor be great? or just need a new mattress and pillow.

I would like to hear from anybody who recently have this and knows how to deal with it. thanks.

Hi Sam, having good pillows is a good idea. I personally don't like chiro's, but they do have a place in physical medicine. Do you spend lots of time on computers or playing video games? Or do you have a hobby like building something? Pay attention to your posture. You might be slightly raising your shoulders which is common in high computer use and this causes tight knots and tension in those upper muscles. Check your setup of your chair/desk. You could try to work with a massage therapist, and also a get some training ideas to build up the opposing muscles.
