I didn't get the opportunity to pick up my birth control on time at my school's health center. I picked it up on Monday and took the first pill immediantly. I took the second one later on that day at the usual time. I know the first pill is the worst to miss, but the official website for cryselle birth control says to use other forms of contraceptive for 7 days. My health center told me to wait a month after missing just one pill. I dont know why the information contradicts... I was hoping someone could help me

follow the pamphlets or information from the manufacturer. I think a month is a bit excessive, but your health care worker is only looking out for your best interest.

I know the first pill is the worst to missReally? I have never heard that.
You're getting different information because different sources allow different degrees of risk. Your health center is probably being overly precautious. The manufacturer is probably saying what they have to to fulfill their legal obligation. (Studies have shown missing one pill... etc.)
Personally, I think being not even 24 hours late, you hardly have much to worry about. I'd use a back-up for 7 says, that's it. Just be sure to take the rest properly (of course).
