I am on Nardil antidepressant for panic disorder and the manufacturer reformulated the Nardil which doesn't work for me anymore and was thinking of coming off of it. I called a psychiatric emergency room if they can admit me to try to wean me off and they won't do it. Would I need to go to one of those detox places to get help to wean off my Nardil? I feel my Nardil is interacting with my Synthroid and giving me bad jitters in the morning. I only take one Nardil a day, 15 mg. I take Synthroid 100 mcg but need to increase to get normal TSH levels but the jitters are preventing me from increasing. Am thinking to get off Nardil. My psychiatrist is too afraid to take me off Nardil afraid I will get worse with anxiety but already have anxiety on it. My medical doctors and endocronologist don't know the answers either. Wondering if a detox place would help if anyone knows. Thanks.
