With my most recent bouts of IBS I've had slight headaches. Anyone else have them? Am going to see my gastroenterologist next week but wondered if headaches are part of IBS. Thanks!

I have IBS-C but this week I have had pain, bloating, explosive diarrhea and headaches. This is all very unusual for me. I have been wondering the same thing about the headaches.

I also have IBS-C and I always get really bad headaches just before a flare up.My doctor says it could be a symptom of the IBS-C causing the headaches.I hope this helps.

Headaches and backaches are quite common with C. Many of the naturopathic docs I've seen understand and can articulate the connection between a full colon that won't move and the impact that will have on all the other organs in the body, consequently causing other aches and pains.
