It is the third day.I have very little brownish blood and I used to have very heavy periods.Is this a regular period or is it just spotting?I started the pill in the middle of the cycle but after ovulation and it happened to come now that I finished my pills(coincidentally)

Anytime you start the pill in the middle of your cycle, you're going to have some problems, that's pretty much a given. You didn't mention what brand of pill you are taking. Some of the brands cause women to have a very light bleed, while some women don't get a period at all. Anything is possible. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, just chalk it up to having started the pill at the wrong time during your cycle and expect strange things to happen until your body calms down again. That's what happens when you start messing with your hormones and don't take them as directed.

I take yasmin.I think it is my period...but so light!!!!anyway I am lucky that it came only a few days later than usually(with the delay) and just when I stopped taking the pills!

I have read some instances on here and other boards that Yasmin can sometimes cause the withdrawal bleed to be very light, or sometimes nonexistant. It's not unusual. I don't think you should worry about it. I'd actually worry more if you had too much bleeding rather than not having a lot. I've always wondered why so many women freak when they have less bleeding? I always thought that would be a good thing? I would be more likely to freak if I was having really heavy bleeding that lasted for weeks. THEN I'd be wondering what was wrong. But if it was lighter than usual, then I'd be happy and I wouldn't be worrying about it at all. But that's just me.
