little miss, You've made it thru the worst part so don't throw in the towel now.

It's not uncommon to gain weight when we quit. I've read that the stimulating effects of smoking are equal to about 500 calories a day. That really is a significant increase and we will have to make some additional lifestyle changes to keep off the pounds.

Is your primary reason for quitting health? If so then the good news the other changes will also be positive for your health. Do you think you can improve your diet or add some exercise to your daily schedule?

HI my main reason for quitting is the amount of money spent on the disgusting habit every month which could be going to other things like holidays.

Worry about your quit for now! When I first quit I went to the Dr crying...I felt like I was going to explode, fat, puffy, swollen. I gained 10 lbs in 3 weeks. A few pounds compared the toxins you were putting in your body....take the pounds.

Your body will adjust, it gets better. Hang in there!!

Good for you :D

Is money really the most important reason for you wanting to quit?

Yes they can be expensive I was spending about $180 per month. But I personally know I could never do it if that was my primary motivation. It would be so much easier to work a few extra hours each week and cut other things out of my budget. No cell phone, no cable, not eating out, ect.... As an addict I would be more than willing to make sacrifices to feed the addiction.

You're 100% right. Thats a BS excuse (no offense). If you're willing to die a slow and terrible death for a weed that grows from the ground, then your last concern is money.
