Does anybody have any info on this or know where I can find it? Do you have to have a degree in something related or is it just a certification that you can get with any bachelor's degree? And do you even need a bachelors?
Thanks!

For most certifications, you don't need any kind of degree. You'll probably want to look into the different certs available, but some are more respected "in the field" than others. ACE is pretty common, but is kind of "entry level" and most trainers and gyms know that, although the clients probably don't.
NASM is very focused on structural and muscular balance for human performance.
ISSA is gaining popularity and has a lot of "specialty" certs you can follow up with.
NSCA is focused on strength and conditioning and has specialties as well.
ACSM is very highly regarded generally, but you do need a degree for that one.
The cost, maintenance, testing, coursework, and time commitment are different for each so you will want to do a little more research on your own to see which fits your needs best.
Hope that helps.

naxis gave you a good start to go from ...
it the CPT industry, the biggest hitters are ACE/ACSM/IFPA/NASM/NCSF/NESTA/NFPT/NSCA ... ISSA is relatively smaller cert, and within the ones mentioned above the IFPA/NFPT are less "reputable"
ACSM is the oldest and most expensive and carries some real clout .. especially if you'd like to PT at a high-end club/gym .. but pretty much all but the NFPT/NESTA/IFPA will be well-regarded in industry, know ACE is a gimme test/cert, it's a starter cert for many who may make CPT there long term occupation
for the most part they have limited req's some age, some HS diploma, most CPR cert ... all have varied time committments/difficulty levels to pass the cert test/different costs/different CME requirement/different lengths before req recert ...
