larbec7 02-06-2008, 12:15 PM Has anyone ever been placed on disability for taking medication and not being able to work due to being on the meds? Sponsor Executor 02-07-2008, 10:09 PM I don't know that anyone has officially been approved based on meds, but the meds are certainly a determining factor. Your "condition" is the official cause, but certainly any good application will stress the meds and the side effects. For example, if your condition requires pain medication, one has an excellent argument for the side effects of pain meds. After all, who would knowingly hire someone on narcotics. Some companies won't even allow employees on the premises period, much less work. Also, the meds are often an indication of the severity of the condition. Good luck! |
