Hello, I would like to know if any of you are using Allsup, and what results you are having. I have not signed with them, I wanted to get a "feel" for how people like working with them, and their results.

Thank you

first time poster, so I hope I didnt break any rules

Hi and welcome....I, personally, do not have allsup, I chose to have a local attorney. However, I have read alot about them and they certainly seem to know what they are doing. I wanted a local attorney in case I needed to get them a document, or something in a hurry. Have you been denied the first time ?

I have not started the process yet. I tried to start the ap online and it made my headspin. I have 2 doctors behind me, but was forewarned that I will probably be denied the first 2 times. I contacted allsup, and was approved thru their screening process. I havent signed with them, and was curious of peoples opinions of them.

Hi !! I wanted to let you know that I have used Allsup and they have been wonderful. I really could not have asked for anyone better. They have been with me every step of the way. There're no stupid questions with them, I have recieved letters and or calls about every 45/60 days just stating that although there are no updates that they just want to let you know that they have not forgotten you and they are on top of things. After almost three years we finally WON !!! My representative was ready to go to the Federal level if necessary but we didn't have to.

My doctors took me out of work completely In February of 05. ( I had reduced hours over the years, used up all my FMLA and had history of Fibromyalgia ,a right knee and calf disorder, Asthma, migraines, right shoulder problems and depression) all that Hx for a post somewhere else I think. Anyways, with their help I filed in August of 05 , got a hearing August 31, 2006. Unfavorable descision on December 19, 2006. We appealed to the appeals council on January 9th 2007. On June 29th 2007 the Appeals council remanded the case back to a different Law Judge. The new hearing based on all the errors that were pointed out ( judge disreagarded SS doc's , all my docs, said I had a back injury and that I just needed an MRI UGGHHH ) was on November 29, 2007. I got a fully favorable descision on December 26, 2007 When all is said and done ( still waiting for $$ due to it being a remand case takes a little longer for the red tape) but as of this month I will get close to $50,000 . I will owe them $5,300. (Because thay are not lawyers only advocates SS can't pay them directly) They are great at what they do because they are ALL ex-ss workers. This gives them a definite advantage. Believe me you won't be sorry. They ask for no $$ upfront and they just said when the back pay comes thru to let them know...no pressure. Go Allsup !!!
I will keep an eye on your post and wish you much luck and patience.:D

i didnt use allsup, just a lawyer a friend used...

i would make sure you only use a lawyer that specializes in the field.

i was denied the first time but got it like 2 months later...

but i prayed and prayed and prayed..lol...

but my lawyer is a good guy, even sent me a christmas card..lol..

he wouldnt have even taken me if he didnt think my case wasnt winable (if thats even a word)lol..

i dont think they charge anymore than any other lawyer and they are the most known so i think they would be okay.

good luck
