Hi i am so frustrated and need to let off some steam!! still no diagnosis as of yet dispite worsening symptoms-weakness, fatigue, dizzy spells, nausea etc. well todayi had to walk in to town to get the bus for lecture well i knew this wasnot going to be fun even before i set out. i had this really nagging headache, lightheadedness and low concentration along with drousyness all morning. the headache was worsening then as i began to walk it was worsening with each step, then the dizzyness and nausea came. i was concerned i was halfway from home and uni so i struggled on (its only a mile to walk) when i got off the bus my legs were like jelly uncontrolable and i kept walking into things, then i became confused i did not know where i was at all or what i was doing. i then got to uni and managed to get into the toilets, i was sweating, v weak, shakey, could feel my heart pounding, it went fuzzy then black and sound was muffles, i could feel my legs giving way then i woke to find i was on the floor head drooped. i managed to heave myself up still v weak dizzy nauseaus and unbalanced, i even struggled to open the door. then i sat down in the reception area when i was still only half concious yet people just walked past, i just dont get it. then suddenly i had this eurge to drink anything, and to grab anything sweet and crisps salty ones. it was really weard. (i have reactive and fasting hypoglycaemia) i didnt know if it was due to being hypo but i have never fainted/collapsed with it before. the thing is i tend to experience this same experience whenever i walk a short distance slowly, if i am mentally busy with assignments and when im upset/worked up aboutsomething, and once i get like this it takes at least a day for the dizzyness and nausea to subside a little. what i wanted to ask you was does this sound like addisons/secondary (i have not got a tan but my lips and cheek has gone a bluish grey colour)? also doe you think it sounds like a faint if so is it a good idea to be on your own if/when i do as i always try to be on my own and not let anyone know that i feel like i am? if it was hypo then is it possible to regain conciousness without iv glucose? thank you, please post back im despirate.
