I haven't posted out here in about four years, but I just want you ladies who have PCOS to know that you can get pregnant. DH and I tried for three years before I went to a fertility clinic and was diagnosed with text-book PCOS. It was never considered b/c I am not overweight. Anyway, I started the metformin (hate the stuff, but it works!), clomid, monitored ultrasounds and blood draws and a "trigger" shot. That didn't work, so we went to injectibles. The first month, I had four eggs. We had sex about 12 hours before the "trigger" shot, and I think that made the difference. I have a 4 year old healthy girl. Oh, and be careful ladies, because it is true, once your body figures it out, it knows what to do! When my DD was 10 months old, I was scheduled for an in office hysteroscopy to start fertility treatments again in about 5 months. Supposed to be on day 10 of my cycle, but my cycle never came. It never even occured to me that I might be pg until I called the dr. office to reschedule. I bought a 6 pack of beer and a pg test. Yep, BFP. I wont tell you which one I did first (beer of pg test ;))

Anyway, my heart goes out to you ladies. The big thing for me was that I didn't ovulate. I could have all the eggs in the world, but they didn't come out. Keep knowing that you will be a mom, and you will be!!!
