I'm 19 years old and I have been interested in going into either radiation therapy, respiratory therapy, or doing sonograms. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on any of them and which one would be a better career for me to persue. Any help would be great. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/angel.gif

I can't tell you which one would be a better career for your individual taste. The only thing I can tell you is which one is better in aspects to it's salary. But I won't, because it's important to do research.

Why don't you ask your local hospital for a tour...or even job shawdow each choice for a day or two? Check the local colleges- some have hands-on labs you could sit in on. Newtwork with others in the field. Find a sales rep and ask to ride with them for a day to see the other offices and meet people in the field. Good Luck!
