Hi

my daughters currently suffering from chest pains. shes been like this now for about a week. Shes finding it hard to sleep and the only time shes getting these pains is when she bends down to do something or when shes trying to sleep on her side at nights. when she stands up she is fine.

she finds she gets most of the pains from her sternum

Sounds like reflux. Have her take a good dose of antacids and see if it helps.

Has she had her gallbladder checked out also?? Might be something to do with that as well..

I feel her pain! I have had those chest pains for like 2 yrs now. And even had my stone filled, adhesion covered gallbladder removed to no relief! lol..

I would think that stress could mess with your stomach which could cause the reflux which would cause the chest pain. Also, people frequently eat more when they are tired to get some energy and having a fuller stomach causes more reflux. No questions are stupid!
