My attorney won't return my calls. His assistant says I need to talk to him and not to her. I haven't been seen by a doctor for my back in 3 months. I know I need to be seen for my case. Has anyone fired their attorney? Do they get any fees or future monies after you fire them? As you can see I'm lost. Thanks

Michael8466 , Sounds like you need to fire your attorney.
My hubby did and good decision to do so. Find another attorney so you can sign off with the one you have now if you seem your getting no where.

Your new attorney will and should take care of the paper work for you. i hope this helps you as my hubby was getting no where but lost with his first attorney.

My husband went through all that and WC even stopped his checks for a year. We were considering suicide. His health got so bad because they would not let him see a Dr. and I called the lawyer and told them I was watching my husband die right in front of my eyes and they better do something. He was in surgery within a week.
If they won't help you call other lawyers and ask them and don't stop until you are satisfied. You are the one who is hurt and they work for you darnit. I never went through so much misery until my husband got hurt that day at work back in 2000 and almost died and then he was treated like a criminal.
I wish you the best.

Believe me I feel your pain. They are the dirtiest people I've ever seen. When I took them to court they caved in right before we were walking in to see the judge for a ruling. They wasted 2 years of my life. I really do believe my injury worsen waiting for them to play their game. Now I feel like I'm going through it again with my own attorney. Thank you
