i have a burning pain on my left buttock cheek just below the hip. i can do anything walk run work etc, but when i touch a certain part on my cheek or sit a certain way, it feels like someone is tearing my skin i that area. can you explain what this could be?

There are no Doctors here to answer questions.
This is a peer to peer support message board, however someone else may have had a similar problem and will be able to give you their thoughts on what your problem might be.

It definately sounds like siactic nerve problems. I would see the doc and then a physical therapist. I had the same problem. A burning sensation down the buttocks and can even travel down your leg. I got therapy for about 10 weeks and it really got the problem under control. They give you some stretching exercises. I hope you find a solution! Good luck!:)
