Can this be due to a low b12 or a low ferritin or both? My body is aching me and I need some advice.

Yes, it can be - it was for me, definitely. I still have aching joints, but I'm so much better now that my B12 is being treated. It took me over 6 months to start feeling better, though. I really was sure I had some other dread disease because I felt so very horrible.

My dr put me on of muscle relaxers, which really helped me move. That along with Advil got me through the worst of it. Now I have started to exercise, and everything kept getting better.

But you have to really ease into everything.

Thanks for advice I just started the b12 shots and I am so scared I have RA. I am going through the testing now. I know how you feel. I have felt like I have the flu but I don't. How long till b12 shots make me feel better? My 1 wrists hurts so bad that when I try to hold something heavy it kills.

Yeah, I had the RA testing done like 3 times because it was so bad. I'd say a couple of months after starting the shots, I saw an improvement. But it was like, good day, bad day, and so on, until the good days finally outweighed the bad. I notice I would do better on days when I didn't over do it.

What caused your low b12? What was your # mine is 280 range 208-963. I am not anemic but I do suffer with IBS and I bet that has caused some problems. I am glad to hear you have the aching too. Not that I am glad you ache lol but I am glad that low b12 can cause aches. I have alittle more energy today after b12 shot yesterday but I still ache. It is in my back, legs, wrists. Is this what you experienced? Also how did you convince your Dr for b12 shots if you were low normal? My Dr thinks it is fine and my chiro thinks I for sure need shots weekly until I feel better and then maintence. Dr just see I fall in the norm and don't really look at the big picture. My chiro is the best at that and I wish he could treat all my problems but there is only so much he can do. Any thoughts?
