I have always had trouble with sinuses, but within the past four months its been more frustrating than ever.

Every 2-3 weeks i will get a sore throat, headache, and sore lymph nodes. my right tonsil also looks kind of swollen/red. Sometimes accompanied with a cough. I have been to my doctor (not an ENT specialist...which is what i should do...) over 5 times. nothing is helping. i tested negative for mono. he said it could be post nasal drip.

does this explain why i feel heatlhy and great most of the time...then every 2-3 weeks i feel sick for three days? after about 3 days it goes away and im fine. but it keeps recurring. i dont get it. can anyone give me advice on what this sounds like? i am on 3 different kinds of allergy medicene.

the only two things i can think of are tonsillitis and/or post nasal drip. i just dont want to deal with this anymore. the doctor really isnt helping, should i see a specialist?

Hi, I am going through the same problems, my sinuses are draining so bad which is causing breathing problems and my tonsils are extremely painful...I think it all connects together...but i am 47 and have to have my tonsils taken out...I feel so fatigue all the time...I don't feel like doing anything...but i was told once my tonsils are out...I would start feeling a lot better physically and mentally.
I hope this help you.
