View Full Version : Tubes in Ears/Back of Head Pain

I am an adult female who had tubes put in two weeks ago. I had this done so that I can fly on airplances as my Eustachean tubes do not open and my ears do not pressurize. I went back to the ENT two weeks later becuase I was experiencing very bad headaches, worse than ever before and he checked everyhing. The tubes are in place, open, and there is no inflammation anywhere around my ears. The trouble I have is that I get this built up feelng at the very base of my ear and have terrible headaches and pain in the back of my head that is unbearable. I am not one for a lot of medication becuase all it does is mask the symptoms, when really the pain is still there. I want to get to the root of this. I am going to go for blood test, etc, becuase twice I woke up with shakes in the middle of the night. I don't know if I have TMJ, ear problems, change of life, low blodo sugar, or everything combined. I am getting very scared. Has anyone had tubes put in and experience the same situation as me. I would hope to hear from someone regarding my awful back of head pain. Thanks.
