I am interested in having a rhinoplasty. Basically, the thing that bothers me about my nose the most and has for my entire life is this hump, or crooked bone. I have United Healthcare and was interested in finding out if there is anything that they could cover. I don't breathe very clearly from my nose and about six years ago I saw a ENT specialist for something else, he noted that i had a deviated septum or something like that. I know ins. covers costs pertaining to that; but would a ENT specialist doing surgery shave off the bone and make my nose straight? Or is that not part of the deviated septum surgery?

On my insurance website it has a procedure called"repair crooked nose" and they list that an ent would perform this, and it is covered. So I'm just trying to see if there is anything that they would cover?

And approx. what were your costs of your rhinoplasty or whatever you had done?

Thank you very much in advance.
