Okay, for a year I was taking lutera, and my period came exactly on the second or third day of my placebo pill. Well, that pill made my face break out horribly so I decided just last month to finally have it switched. They switched me to Ortho tri cyclen lo, which he said would help since it has less hormones in it and everything. Well I'm also sexually active, so switching kind of concerned me at th same time. I started the new pack of ortho the next day after i took my last placebo pill of lutera, and it's been i guess almost a month now since i'm on the second placebo pill on ortho, but i haven't had my period yet?? i've never missed a pill, take it same time everyday, could i be pregnant?? everybody i've talked to said it's unlikely, they said it could be just my body trying to get use ot the chance of switching. I feel some cramping have been for the past two days i'd say, but no signs of my period yet, is this normal when switching birth control, will it eventually come?? i need help :(

You have to understand that the pill is a very strong chemical, and it can have any number of strange effects on your body. Missing a period is not that big of a deal. I don't think you need to assume pregnancy, because that's probably the very last thing you need to worry about. I wouldn't be worried about it. Just chalk it up to having switched and your body trying to figure out what to do now, because the pill really messes everything up for everybody and it takes a while for things to calm down after you make that kind of change.

And you started the new pill correctly at the right time, so that's why I don't think you need to worry.
