whats the hearing disorder thing where when your partly deaf when theres a loud noise/music right near you (like you wouldnt find it loud but everyone else would)?, but your hearing is fine when your far away from where the sound is coming from?...

becos this happens for me.. im 17 male

i can hear fine when far away, but like when a real loud noise happens near me, i would not find it loud at all... when everyone else around me would..
am i partially death?

You probably have some hearing loss and don't hear certain pitches or tones well. Talk to your doctor about this and he will most likely recommend a complete hearing test.

Not exactly deaf. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif I have hearing loss in both ears, but in different ranges (bass is mostly gone from the left, some middle frequency loss in the right). Mine is from Meniere's Disease (which it doesn't sound like you have), but it is in particular frequencies, not over the whole range of hearing. About the only result I experience is that I cannot hear well on the telephone with my left ear...and my daughter claims my stero is 'adjusted' very strangely. (I have the bass on 'high' and the upper ranges turned down a bit...works for me...) And flute music is a little too 'shrill' for me now... http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
