:confused:I went to my Rheumy on the 31st, which is the same day I started taking 50mg of Lyrica. I slept amazingly well that night and have continued to sleep really well until this last Sunday night. I noticed my energy level was improved and my general attitude was very happy. After taking 50mg for 7 days, my doctor upped my dose to 50mg 2x a day. I started feeling fantastic despite the 'high' effect (I felt like I was on pain meds). That was great for about 5 days. I didn't really mind the high feeling because I felt great...I even had energy after 8 hours of work to clean my house:)!! I'm in the process of buying a house so I'm a little stressed, but so far (knock on wood) it hasn't been too bad. It's more exciting than stressful (my first house). So Sunday I noticed I randomly started waking up in the middle of the night and then I would quickly fall back asleep....which is really typical for us Fibromites. Last night I felt like I was getting the flu. My boyfriend swore he thought I was getting sick. I was running a low grade fever and my head was killing me plus the aches and pains. Today I'm dragging a little and just had to take a Darvaset at 1pm. I haven't had to do this since I started the Lyrica. I'm worried it's going to stop working like others have reported. Anyone else on Lyrica that can tell me how it's going for them???

I've been on lyrica for about 2 months now & I love it. When I first started I to was taking 50mg & slowly went up to 300mg/day. I first thought it was great & then I felt like it was wearing off. But, I continued to take it. I'm glad I stuck with it. I feel much better & have more energy. My family is always asking if I took my meds. They don't want me to stop. Anyway, I still have minor sx's & it is still worse in the evening. But, I'm able to get off work & do mom chores. I'm even assistant coach for my sons soccer team! Three months ago I probably couldn't even make it to his soccer practice. I pray the lyrica doesn't wear off. I do however have an eye exam Wednesday to make sure it isn't effecting my vision. Something is...but this was happening before lyrica. Best of luck to ya.
Bless ya,
