i am 23 and i hate my nose, it is very long and thin and bumpy, and is pointy at the end. It doesnt suit my face at all, and kind of holds me back because i am consious of it. If I wanted to change it, is cosmetic surgery the only option? (apart from punching yourself in the face lol.)?

;) Please do Not resort to punching yourself in the face :) And actually those that have had a broken nose, typically need to get the surgery/rhinoplasty (nose job) to correct the appearance of the nose. I've been considering rhinoplasty myself as I have a deviated septum (have slight but noticable bump) which impairs breathing somewhat while my nose is constantly running. If one is having difficulty with breathing and/or runny nose (Not for cosmetic purposes), health insurance may pay for the rhinoplasty. An ear, nose and throat dr (ent) can diagnose a deviated septum. Please get a referral from a family physician to an ent. A (board-certified) plastic surgeon may also do rhinoplasty, however, not sure if insurance pays for that or if ent's are more competent, if you will.
