I just celebrated my first year anniversary of being smoke free.

I smoked for 29 years and nobody but nobody believed that I could or would ever quit. I tried before several times but always failed.

This time - I made it. And despite an incredibly stressful year, I have not fallen off the wagon.

I was successful using patches for two full months. At the very beginning I also kept some nicotine inhalers on hand. Puffed on those a few times when I really, really was on edge.

While some say that you should not use inhalers and patches at the same time, my Doctor told me that their combined use was a lot less damaging and dangerous than smoking itself.

I now can say with confidence. I will never ever go back to smoking! It's great to be FREE!

Love Betty:)
