I am under so much stress and in a fm flair or costro flair, who knows maybe even ibs. My low ribs are so sore both sides, i am getting those sharp shooting pains in ribs, stomach and chest on and off.

I went for my gyno exam, pap was okay but the Dr. found a breast lump, well there went the anxiety. She said to watch it for a week and if it did get smaller to call. I could not find the darn things. Went to my G/P she really examined me but felt nothing but ordered an ultra sound. Had that done yesterday, the tech said well don't lose any sleep over this, I see nothing.

Than my Dr. did a finger stick for gluclose, my last lab test was a little high. the finger stick was 137, not fasting. so okay not I have to do home monitoring.

My husband went for a stress, the cardio knew he had a 60%
blockage since his first heart attack, the stress looks like it has gotten worse. he goes for a cardio cath next thurs. Although the cardio said the stress test is very unreliable. but Cliff has some symtons, a little pressure and shortness of breath on and off.

I hate these darn shooting pains, they only last a minuet but scare you they come so fast and you never know how long they will last. Any one else get them?

Just wanted to let you all know what is going on.

Hugs, Linda

Linda, I too get them and I think you will find many that do.... You have alot going on so I think you know how much stress can set it off. I know it is easy to say watch your stress levels considering how much you are under but please try to.... Have you ever tried a heating pad on your chest... Sometimes it helps me, not always, but sometimes...

You have been through so much in such a little amount of time so I understand the stress but try to do something relaxing for yourself... maybe take a hot bath if you are able... relax with your husband on the couch, light some candles and just sit there... anything that is relaxing for the both of you...

Keep posting and that always helps also and let us know how you are doing as we all care, we all have to stick together. I am sending angels to look over both you and your husband and wishing you the best...:angel::angel: Jenn

Pa235,

I get that sometimes. With all the stress you are under I can understand why. (I can sympethize) When I get stressed from anything to everything what I usually do is get the heating pad and get a video. Something funny or I get a video of a comedian that I really enjoy. Maybe you and your husband could watch this together and relax and maybe laugh a bit.

I hope this helps a little. I wish you the best.

Hi Linda, sounds like the stress monster has a good hold on you. Take those deep breathes, at least as deep as you can. Those shooting pains can be doozies, I get them too. This is the place to come and let off some of that stress, we will be here for you. I will put a little more into my prayers for you and Cliff, and keep positive thoughts.
