Ive had this yellow/white stuff under my thumb nail for a while now, all my other nails are fine, its just this one. I tried to pick out the stuff but it just comes back. Anyone have any idea what it is and how i can get rid of it. Thanks for any help.;)

Is the nail plate turning yellow as well? Is the nail plate separating from the nail bed?

You have a fungus infection. Fungus is characterized by nail plate yellowing, thickening, separation and apparent debris in the area of separation. The debris is the waste of the infection. You need to start treatment with either oral meds or one of the OTC treatments available from your local drug store. It will only get worse if you do not treat it. Treatment can take up to a full year to kill all the fungal spores that are deep within the nail bed as well as the layers of the nail plate.
