Hi Everyone, I'm Sheri.
I'm a single mom to one 8 y/o child. We live in Central Ca. For the past 7 years we've been on aid, and about a year ago I went on disability because I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition-Scleroderma. So we have Medi-Cal, and Central Coast Alliance for Health is our insurance providor.
Well, at this point I'm just so tired of dealing with the politics of the County Health Clinic. I want to get my child into a proper Pediatric Group, and I want to start seeing a Private Practice MD for my primary needs...
I've heard of THE HEALTHY FAMILIES insurance plan-which is low cost, but I'm not sure if it covers adults, and not just children. I'm willing to pay for low cost health insurance if it will get me away from that Health Clinic. Any and all facts and figures would be much appreciated!
Thanks! ~Sheri~
