Doc prescribed me a number of drugs which cause insomnia, along with Ambien, 30x10mg. Problem is my insurance says they only cover 15 per 30 days.. generic. Regular price for 30 tabs is $80.

My insurance has given me a hard time with other drugs, Wellbutrin XL, etc, but never for generics. I need 30 Ambien every month. What should I do?

Your doctors office can call your insurance company and get an approval for the additional 15 pills per month - this is done all the time. Also while that is being done ask the doc for samples - they always have a closet full
