low IgM with elevated leukocytes. what does it mean?

I do not know much about leukocytes. I do have an idea concerning low Igm.

Apparently it is unusual in adults when there is no cancer. I have been diagnosed with this condition. There really is not much that is done. There are so few cases that there is no treatment. My doctor just manages the frequent sinus infections.

Hi, I was just diagnosed with a low IgM level also. I saw a hematologist and he's doing a lot more blood tests. He did say he was testimg for a certain type of cancer, but it's unlikely. He told me that of all the immunoglobins, the IgM is the one they can't replace. I get frequent rashes and infections.
I'm not sure what to think about this, but I'm scared. :confused:

I do not think being "scared" is useful. The best thing is to live life and take care of infections. I have known about this for over 5 years. Most likely the IgM has always been low.
