View Full Version : Hearing Aids and Earwax

I know earwax is normal to have. I have been wearing hearing aids since I was only 2, and stopped wearing a hearing aid in my left ear at age 14 because it has progressed to the profound hearing loss level.
Why do people who wear hearing aids produce more earwax? The odd thing to me is that it was mostly my UNAIDED ear has more wax than my aided ear. Also my left ear's canal is more smaller than my right (aided) ear...is it because I wore earmolds in that ear all my life and it seemed larger than my left one?
