I've been sick for about 6 days, i thought it was just a cold, congestion, low energy, some body aches, not really much coughing. urine has been erratic, from normal to a few days ago very yellow and noticeably stenchy smelling to back to normal, not peeing that much to the last 2 nights where I've gotten up 4-5 time throughout the night to pee. about an hour ago for the first time my pee was red, 10 minutes later i passed a solid object, it's amazing large considering the pain level which wasn't that high at all, it just plopped out. I say solid, but it's more like a 'fuzz ball' for lack of better description.

could this be a kidney stone?

can you pass a stone without severe pain (I've never heard of this)???

if it's not a kidney stone, what else could it be?

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, I'm not in any severe pain, so an ER trip doesn't seem warranted...

may try to capture the 'fuzz ball'/stone (haven't flushed it yet) for the doc...

thanks...

Take your fuzz ball to the Dr and let him look at it, don't flush it! . Do you think maybe you were just dehydrated from being sick? That can make your urine really dark and make you where you can't urinate well. From my experience a kidney stone is hard like a rock and not soft and fuzzy. From my experience, if you are passing a kidney stone- the pain is so severe you have to go to the ER specially if it is your first stone. But, kidney stones can be wierd and sometimes I had things happen to me that Dr's say aren't exactly right ( like passing a stone and not having any traces of blood in urine.) - so you never know. Take it to the Dr- for sure!
