I weigh a little more than I should for my age, (38), and I'm wondering if it was safe to take 4 of them, I usually take them when I can't go to sleep or are very depressed. I took 3 last night and it didn't really do anything, but some of my friends say it's because I weigh more than I should.

Jason

It's not a good idea to take that many at once. My doctor told me not take them because they raise blood pressure. I already have high blood pressure so I don't take them.

Sincerely Nadine:)

just how long have you been taking the bed time benedryl?i am also wondering why you would take benedryl for depression?if you are actually suffering from depression, insomnia can come along for the ride as well.it did big time with my sons depression.i really think seeing your doc about the depression and insomnia would be a much better way of dealing with this than taking a bunch of benedryl.its not going to take away the underlying problem, you know what i mean?just have an open and honest discussion with your doc about whats been going on in your life and that you are feeling depressed.he is there to help you.this isn't going to get better with benedryl.it really sounds like you may have developed some level of actual tolerance from just using this over and over again or you would have had the very same affect from it at the regular dosage as you did the first time you took it.just make that appt with your doc so he can see whats up,K?you just need some help with this.please let me know how you are doing.
